As you all know that The Ladli Behna Yojana is an initiative taken by the Madhya Pradesh government aimed at empowering and enabling women to become self-reliant. This scheme offers financial assistance to women on a monthly basis . Additionally, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has introduced a new program called the Ladli Behna Awas Yojana, which aims to provide housing facilities to homeless women. Through the Ladli Behna Awas Yojana 2023, housing will be made available to the sisters of the state. This scheme is designed to benefit financially weak families who are unable to construct their own permanent house and are currently without a home.

Ladli Behna Awas Yojana

On 9 August, 2023, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, during a cabinet meeting, announced the commencement of the Ladli Behna Awas Yojana. This initiative aims to offer housing assistance to those sisters who are homeless and whose financial conditions is weak. They will receive a facility of Pucca house . The Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Awas Yojana expands its scope to provide financial aid for permanent housing to homeless women across various castes and religions.

Houseless eligible families of all categories will be included under this scheme.  Under the Ladli Behna Awas Yojana, all those sisters will be given priority. Those who have not been able to get the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana due to some reason or the other.

Last date  for Ladli Behna Awas Yojana Application

The application process for the Ladli Behna Awas Yojana has been started from 17th September. The people who are interested in applying for this Yojana must visit their respective Gram Panchayat to submit their application forms. The last date for submitting application forms is 5th October .Any interested candidate who wants to get a permanent house under this scheme will have to submit the application form before 5th October.. Application forms will be accepted across all Gram Panchayats within the state.After the submission of application forms, they will be forwarded from the District Panchayat Officer to the District Panchayat CEO for verification. Once verified, the list of eligible beneficiaries will be released. Only after this the benefits of the housing scheme will be provided as per the beneficiary list.

Benefits and Features of Ladli Behna Awas Yojana

• Through Ladli Behna Awas Yojana women in Madhya Pradesh are empowered to build their own houses by providing them  financial assistance.

• The aim of this Yojana is to make the women independent by providing them with their own house.
• The amount of financial assistance is directly transferred to the beneficiary’s bank account for their house  construction.
• Through Ladli Behna Awas Yojana, about 97000 families of the state will be provided their own houses.
• The benefit of this scheme will be given especially to those women who are getting the benefits of Mukhyamantri Laadli Behna Yojana.
• The Priority will be given under this scheme to those families who have not been able to get the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
• The Economically weaker families will be able to get the benefit of a permanent house through this Yojana.
• Under this scheme housing facilities will be provided in the name of the women . 
• To get the benefits of the Ladli Behna Awas Yojana the beneficiaries have to fill the form.The form is available in online as well as offline mode.
• After Verification, if your name is in the list of Ladli Behna Awas Yojana, then you will be given the benefit of the housing scheme.

Eligibility for Ladli Behna Awas Yojana 

The following eligibilities are required  for Ladli Behna Awas Yojana:

• To get the benefits of Ladli Behna Awas Yojana, the applicant must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh.
•  Those who do not have a permanent house to live in will be eligible to avail the benefits of this scheme.
•  Under Ladli Behna Awas Yojana, houses will be given in the name of women.
•  The woman’s name should be in the Ladli Behna Yojana list.
•  The applicant woman should not have her own house or plot.
• The Families who have a four-wheeler will not be eligible for this scheme.
•  Only such people will get housing facilities for those who have been left out under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

• On the homepage, locate and click on the Ladli Behna Awas Yojana Form option.
• This will open the Ladli Behna Awas Yojana form in PDF format.
• Proceed by clicking the Download option to save the application form to your device.
