The Madhya Pradesh government is implementing numerous beneficial schemes for various segments of the population, including farmers, who are reaping their rewards. One such program is the Ladli Behna Yojana, which is now providing tangible benefits to women. As of now, three installments of this scheme have been successfully transferred to women’s accounts. The eagerly anticipated fourth installment of the Ladli Behna Yojana is set to be released on September 10, 2023, generating great excitement among the women of the state. Additionally, the Chief Minister has announced an increase in the scheme’s funding. This initiative plays a crucial role in empowering women to become self-reliant.

The Ladli Behna scheme has gained immense popularity. In its initial phase, around 1.25 crore women applied, and in the second phase, an additional 6 lakh women joined, bringing the total participants to about 1.31 crore. Compared to other government schemes, Ladli Bahna stands out with an unprecedented number of women beneficiaries. The scheme is about to enter its third phase, and the Chief Minister is expected to make an announcement during the release of the fourth installment of the Ladli Behna Yojana. One notable feature of this scheme is that it provides an annual sum of Rs 12,000 directly to women’s accounts for a duration of 5 years. This means that every woman in the state is set to receive approximately Rs 60,000 through the Ladli Behna Yojana.

4th Installment Released

A conference is scheduled to release the fourth phase of the Ladli Behna Yojana. During this event, the Chief Minister will not only distribute the fourth installment of Rs 1,269 crore to the women but also address them. In September, Rs 1,000 will be credited to the women’s accounts, followed by an increased amount of Rs 1250 in October. The Chief Minister explained that Rs 250 was already deposited in women’s accounts on Raksha Bandhan in August, hence only Rs 1,000 will be transferred this time. However, as promised, Rs 1250 will be distributed in October, and the necessary funds are being arranged for this purpose.

When will women get Rs 3,000 per month under Ladli Behna Yojana?

During a program recently , CM Chouhan announced the increase in the installment amount of the Ladli Behna Yojana from Rs 1000 to Rs 3,000. He also explained the progression of this increase, stating that in the fifth installment, which will be credited to women’s accounts in October, Rs 1250 will be deposited. As funds become available, this amount will be raised to Rs 1500 per month. Subsequently, it will be gradually raised to Rs 1750, then Rs 2000, followed by Rs 2250, and then Rs 2500. Finally, the amount will be increased to Rs 3000.

“The CM is Expected to Announce the Commencement Date for the Third Phase of Ladli Behna Yojana”

It is believed that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will reveal the date for initiating applications in the third phase of Ladli Behna Yojana. As previously stated on Rakshabandhan, all women in the state will have the opportunity to apply and get benefit from this scheme in its third phase. This includes women aged between 23 to 60 years, with or without tractors. Although the third phase of Ladli Behna Yojana has been officially announced, the application date is yet to be confirmed. It is believed that the CM may announce this date while releasing the fourth installment of Ladli Behna Yojana.

• A page will prompt you to enter your mobile number and captcha code. Click “Send OTP.”
• Verify the OTP sent to your mobile number.
• You’ll be directed to a new page where you’ll need to provide information like your name, district, block, etc.
• Fill all the required information accurately and click “Submit.”
• The updated beneficiary list will be displayed on the screen and now you can check your name in this list.

Objectives of Ladli Behna Yojana

The main objective of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan behind the Ladli Behna Yojana is to make the sisters of the state self-reliant and empowered by providing financial assistance.  Under this scheme, the sisters will get Rs 1250 every month, a total of Rs 15000 per year. This amount will support the women to manage their essential expenses.

Advantages and Features of  Ladli Behna Yojana

The Advantages and Features of  Ladli Behna Yojana are as follows:

• The Madhya Pradesh government has marked a budget of Rs 60,000 crore over five years to benefit eligible sisters.
• Beneficiaries of Ladli Behna Yojana will receive a monthly financial assistance of Rs 1250.
• Under Chief Minister  Ladli Behna Yojana (CMLBY), selected candidates will receive their allocated funds in their bank accounts on the 10th of each month.
• This scheme extends financial support to women from both lower and middle-class backgrounds.
• The funds distributed through this scheme are aimed at enhancing the economic well-being of the Ladli Behnas in Madhya Pradesh.
• If the woman is elderly (above 60 years of age), she will receive ₹650 from this scheme in addition to ₹600 from the old-age pension scheme.

Eligibility for Ladli Behna Yojana

The following eligibility are required for Ladli Behna Yojana are as follows:-

• Only sisters of Madhya Pradesh can avail the benefit of this scheme.
• It is compulsory for the sisters to be married.
• Women between 21 to 60 years of age can avail the benefits of this scheme.
• This includes married, widowed, divorced, and abandoned women.
• Women who are poor and from lower middle class families of Madhya Pradesh will be eligible for Ladli Behna Yojana.
• The annual income of the sister’s family should be less than Rs 2,50,000 and they should have less than 5 acres of agricultural land.

• According to the Madhya Pradesh government, all beloved sisters from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Backward Class, and General Category can apply for this scheme.
• Your mobile number should be connected to your bank account, where you’ll get the money. Also, the woman’s Aadhaar should be linked to Samagra.
