Madhya Pradesh Government Sports and Youth Welfare Department is running various schemes to promote youth in sports. The  Constant efforts are being made by the Shivraj government to ensure that every section of the citizens can participate in sports.  Along with this, a new scheme has been started by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to encourage labour families also towards sports.  Whose name is Madhya Pradesh Khiladi Protsahan Yojana.Under this MP Khiladi Protsahan Yojana, workers and their families will be given an incentive amount of up to Rs 10,000 if they are selected in a sports competition.  The government will give incentive amount to the winning players in different categories.

This program offers monetary rewards to winning players participating in sports events. The Selected labour families can receive an incentive of Rs 10,000. Latest update of MP Khiladi Protsahan Yojana 

The cabinet of Shivraj government of Madhya Pradesh approved several important proposals in the meeting held in the ministry on Tuesday. One of the approved initiatives is the ‘Sambal Khiladi Protsahan Yojana’, aimed at motivating players engaged in state and national competitions with incentives ranging from Rs 25,000 to 50,000. The government endorsed a budget of Rs 4 lakh, as proposed by the Labour Department, for this scheme. Previously, the Sports and Youth Welfare Department rewarded players only upon winning medals. However, with this new incentive, the government aims to encouraging talented players towards sports.

Objectives of MP Khiladi Protsahan Yojana

The main objective of  MP Khiladi Protsahan Yojana by the Madhya Pradesh Government is to motivate labourers to engage in sports. By encouraging both the workers and their families to participate in sports, their talents can be showcased to a wider audience. Under this program, a grant of Rs 10,000 will be awarded to registered construction workers or their family members who excel at district, division, or state-level competitions organized by the Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board and other tiers.So that labour families can also be brought forward in sports and encouraged.

1. The applicant must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh to be eligible for MP Khiladi Protsahan Yojana .
2. Only construction workers and their family members will be eligible for this scheme.
3. The applicant must be enrolled with the Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
4. The applicant’s bank account must be linked with their Aadhaar card.
