What is Lakhpati Didi Yojana?

Lakhpati Didi scheme is already running in different states of India.  Now, under the Lakhpati Didi scheme, a target has been set by the Central Government of India to provide training to about 2 crore women under the scheme.  Through this scheme, the womens will get interest free loan to set up their small scale business as well as the womens who apply through the government will be recieve training in plumbing, making LED bulbs and operating and repairing drones etc.

Lakhpati Didi Scheme Launched

On the occassion of 77th independence day ,a speech was given by Prime Minister Modi ji at Red Fort .In his speech ,he said that government has decided to make 2 crore women millionaires in our country.PM Modi highlighted that, just like you find dedicated “bank wali didi,” “anganwadi didi,” and “medicine wali didi” in villages, soon you will also encounter “Lakhpati Didi” in rural areas, who will possess significant assets worth lakhs of rupees.

Prime Minister Vision On Lakhpati Didi Yojana

Recently ,the Prime Minister Modi ji has mentioned the  Lakhpati Didi Scheme in his speech .He said that womens are moving forward in all the fields .In such situation it has been decided to provide skill & Training development program to 2 crore womens of the country .It’s objective is to  encourage women to start Micro enterprises or Small scale industry .He also says that this scheme is running in some states of the country .But now the Central government has taken a decision to train 2 crore women under this Scheme 

Objectives Of Lakhpati Didi Yojana

This scheme is launched with the objective of making women self reliant and  to empower them.In which the womens are provided with opportunity to become Lakpathi by opening their own Micro enterprises .The womens of Self Help Groups will especially benefited under this scheme .The annual income of the women will be raised ,and this will increase their standard of living .

Benefits of Didi Lakhpati Yojana

• The Womens will receive interest-free loans that they can utilize to initiate their own business or to expand their businesses.
• The government will provide loans as well as Technical guidance ,marketing and training of products to scale up their  business.
• Along with this it will increase the income of the rural peoples of the state and increase the purchase and sales activity of the local products.
• With the increment in  the business,employment opportunities for womens in rural area will be generated.Due to which more and more women will be join this scheme.

Lakhpati Didi Yojana:Skill and Training Program

• Under this scheme the womens will be provided skill and training. So that they can earn more than 1 lakh per year.

• SHGs women will be provided with the drones for agricultural activities. 
• This initiative plans to use technology to change agriculture in rural areas and empower women.
• About 15,000 women’s self-help groups will be trained in using and fixing drones.
• This training will helps women to make money and learn advanced skills.
• Drones can change farming by making it more precise, monitoring crops, and controlling pests.
• This scheme will also  teach them  skills like making LED bulbs and plumbing etc.

Eligibility for Lakhpati Didi Yojana

This scheme is being executed across various states, and therefore, each state has established its own eligibility criteria. However, here we provide some  of the general eligibility guidelines:-

• The Beneficiary women must be an Indian citizens.
• This scheme is exclusively designed for women, and only they can avail its benefits.
